Royal Hawaiian Movers is seeking an HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations across Hawaii. The role emphasizes compliance with Hawaii employment laws, DOT/FMCSA requirements, and DBIDS access, while partnering with operations to forecast staffing for drivers, warehouse, and moving crews.

The ideal candidate will handle onboarding, I-9/E-Verify, benefits, leaves, and HRIS data integrity, and act as a strategic partner to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience required.
• Expertise in Hawaii employment laws, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and DBIDS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for Royal Hawaiian Movers.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and I-9/E-Verify compliance.
• Coordinate benefits, open enrollment, and HRIS data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Hawaii state employment laws and leaves.
• Coach managers on performance, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Support payroll liaison and leave administration.
