Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is recruiting a Safety Manager for a repiping and mechanical infrastructure company in Honolulu. You will lead safety programs statewide, ensuring OSHA and HIOSH compliance while developing state-specific safety policies and training for field teams.

Responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, audits, and collaboration with the corporate safety team to align initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience in Hawaii across multiple trades and sites.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing construction safety programs and policies.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
• Experience delivering safety training for construction field personnel
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, HIOSH, and Hawaii-specific safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures across Hawaii operations
• Develop and deliver construction safety training programs for field employees, supervisors, and managers
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk assessments across multiple project sites
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIOSH, state and local regulations; maintain documentation
• Partner with corporate safety to align Hawaii initiatives with company standards
• Analyze safety metrics and trends to improve performance and compliance
• Recommend safety improvements and technology adoption for reporting and safety
• Travel across Oahu in a personal vehicle; collaborate with operations and HR
• Support long-term planning and development of Hawaii safety operations
• Manage budgets and vendor proposals; monitor costs
