Job summary

Partners In Development Foundation seeks a Upena Pili Navigator to guide and support ʻōpio furthest from opportunity through individualized, relationship-based navigation grounded in the program's ancestral wayfinding model. The role partners with youth to identify goals, access coordinated supports, and build the mindsets and skills needed to navigate learning, work, and life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in social services, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years experience working directly with youth.
• Ability to travel to program sites on Oʻahu and Molokaʻi.

Responsibilities

• Guide ʻōpio through individualized Navigator's Journey and identify goals and next steps.
• Build relationships, navigate barriers, and connect youth with education, employment, and community supports.
• Coordinate with program staff to strengthen continuity of services and reduce gaps.
• Document contacts, progress, referrals, and outcomes in PIDF systems.
• Participate in supervision, training, and professional development.
