Kamehameha Schools is seeking a Lead Navigator of Haumāna-Centered Learning to serve as an instructional leader and coach across K-12 campuses in Hawai'i. The position requires collaboration with campus and divisional teams, strong Hawaiian cultural grounding, and experience with competency-based and place-based learning approaches.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Education, Indigenous Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, Hawaiian Studies, or a related field.
• Three years of instructional coaching, educator development, curriculum leadership, or related educational roles.
• Experience teaching in K-12 settings and applying Hawaiian culture and worldviews to instructional design.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional learning for adults and using student data to drive improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools, LMS platforms, and other educational technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and facilitation of culturally grounded professional learning and coaching.
• Provide instructional leadership and support to campus and divisional teams.
• Use data-informed decision making to improve teaching and student outcomes.
• Coach educators through modeling, feedback, and co-teaching practices.
• Integrate AI and educational technologies to enhance learning experiences.
