Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Hauling Operations to oversee driving teams across multiple lines of business in a geographically dispersed area. You will lead safety initiatives, drive exceptional customer experience, and improve routing efficiency while supporting budget goals.

You will supervise drivers and helpers, collaborate with Operations leadership, and promote a culture of safety and high performance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety goals and communicate them; remove unsafe conditions; partner with maintenance to keep equipment safe and compliant.
• Customer Experience: provide service meeting or exceeding expectations; handle missed pickups and schedule changes with stakeholders.
• Efficiency: establish productivity goals; lead drivers to exceed routes; modify routes to improve density and reduce hours; support budget goals.
• Employee Engagement: build a collaborative team environment; coach for advancement; perform other duties as needed.
