Qualifications

• 7-10 years of work experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations with leadership responsibilities.
• Associate's degree or HS diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with OSHA safety programs and compliance.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control experience.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and meet business commitments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day depot operations and support to operations managers and supervisors.
• Supervise and train site personnel including drivers and dispatchers.
• Develop and implement procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Conduct root cause investigations for injuries and incidents; retrain as needed.
• Oversee staffing, coaching, discipline, performance reviews, and promotions.
• Interact with city/county agencies to renew contracts and improve service.
