Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations to oversee collections activities across multiple lines of business in a geographically dispersed area. You will supervise drivers and helpers, drive safety programs, improve route efficiency, and collaborate with the management team to meet budgets and service levels.

You will lead safety initiatives, enhance customer experience, and optimize routes while supporting fleet maintenance and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, engage employees in safety culture.
• Customer Experience: deliver service that meets/exceeds expectations, resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders.
• Efficiency: set productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal expenses, optimize routes for density and efficiency, support maintenance and fleet quality.
