Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking experienced haul truck operators to work on active mining sites. You will operate off-road trucks safely, transport materials, and perform routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires clear communication with dispatch and supervisors, and adherence to MSHA standards under varying weather conditions. Ideal candidates bring prior haul truck experience in mining or similar environments, a valid driver’s license, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience operating haul trucks in mining, quarry, or heavy civil environments preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• MSHA certification preferred; may be required before starting.
• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions in varying weather.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport materials such as overburden, ore, and aggregate throughout the site.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections on equipment.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all site safety standards and MSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other operators.
• Assist with general site duties as needed.
