Job summary

AR Utilities & Excavation is seeking a dependable Haul Truck & Equipment Moving Operator to transport materials, heavy equipment, and machinery between job sites, yards, and designated locations. The role requires safe loading, securing, transporting, and unloading of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate haul trucks and equipment-moving vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Transport heavy machinery, construction equipment, materials, and other loads to and from job sites.
  • Load, secure, inspect, transport, and unload equipment according to company and DOT safety requirements.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
  • Assist with positioning equipment at job sites and coordinating loading/unloading operations.
  • Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle, load, and delivery documentation.
  • Keep trucks and equipment clean and in safe operating condition.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, operators, and job-site personnel.
  • Follow all company policies, OSHA/DOT requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.

The ideal candidate has experience operating haul trucks and safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate haul trucks and equipment-moving vehicles safely and efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
