Job summary

Urban Infraconstruction is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver to join our Equipment Department. You will safely transport heavy and oversized equipment to job sites and yards, with a focus on proper securement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience hauling heavy equipment or oversized loads.
• Experience operating lowboy, flatbed, or specialized trailers.
• Ability to safely load and unload construction equipment.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy and oversized equipment to job sites and yards.
• Load and unload equipment using proper securement techniques (chains, binders, straps).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch, project teams, and field crews on delivery schedules.
• Identify and report maintenance issues with truck or trailer.
