Job summary

Martin Marietta in Lathrop, MO is seeking a Surface Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and move material within the quarry while supporting plant operations. Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operations experience or military experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Wear of personal protective equipment.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Ensure materials are loaded according to safety requirements.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

Preferred Education And Experienceand
