Job summary

Cobb is hiring at the Kentucky Hatchery in Monticello, KY. The role involves processing, sanitation, and egg room duties with a focus on vaccinating and beak trimming thousands of chicks daily. Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no job gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire rule: no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Processing: vaccinate and beak trim approx 2,000 chicks per hour per order; grade ~60,000 chicks.
• Toe trim on ~8,000 chicks for ID purposes if required.
• Manage egg room duties: prepare shipments, transfer eggs and stack boxes.
• Sanitation: clean hatchery areas, wash equipment and rooms with pressure washer.
• Assist with Shipping and packing for domestic and international egg shipments.
