Job summary

Cobb is seeking a dedicated team member at Kentucky Hatchery in Monticello to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of hatchery facilities. The role emphasizes thorough cleaning, data recording, and safe handling practices across the shift.

Responsibilities include operating a pressure washer, managing hatchery rooms and dollies, and assisting the Pull Crew. The position requires reading and recording data regularly and adherence to company safety and biosecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the gap increases to 18 months.
• Rehire criteria: max 3 times at Cobb/Tyson Foods; previous agricultural or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hatchers and hallways with a pressure washer (25%).
• Clean and sanitize the holding room, box room and approx. 200 dollies weighing up to 5 lb (25%).
• Pull ~42 buggies of empty hatcher trays weighing ~150 lb back to hatcher rooms (25%).
• Read, write and record data from setters/hatchers every 3 hours; pull ~36 stacks of 40 chick boxes for Pull Crew (15%).
• Properly euthanize weak/ill chicks per policy; perform breakouts and data entry into CHS/EDM; assist Pull Crew when needed (10%).
