Job summary

The Cobb team in Cleveland Hatchery, GA is hiring for a chicken processing position. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include grading, vaccinating and toe trimming, operating the box washer and macerator, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a biosecure poultry facility. Applicants must have at least 12 months of continuous work history with one employer and meet rehire rules.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps >6 months in the past 36 months.
• If laid off or providing child or elder care, the gap rule increases to 18 months.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 prior Cobb/Tyson Foods employments.

• Process chickens including grading, vaccination and toe trimming.
• Operate the box washer, macerator and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety policies.
