Pilgrim’s in Kentucky is seeking a team member to support hatchery operations, including monitoring for machine issues, repairing farm buggies, and covering hatchery duties during absences. The role emphasizes GMP compliance, PPE usage, and safe lifting practices.

MAJOR JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Notify hatchery management of any machine issue that could effect
chick quality.
Work on Wednesday clean days. Repair farm buggies.
Any other job duties as requested by Hatchery Management.
PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
Fill in for Hatchery Jobs during absences
General Tasks assigned by Management when there are not absences
QUALITY REQUIREMENTS:
Make certain all GMP’s are followed at all times as they relate to safety and
Animal Welfare.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks.
Hearing protection must be worn during chick processing.
Fall protection must be used in the event work is over 4′ from ground level.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mostly indoor working conditions with temperatures between 64-100.
Outside working conditions will vary according to the weather conditions.
