Job summary

Pilgrim's in Mayfield, Kentucky is seeking team members for our hatchery operations. This role focuses on addressing machine issues, performing maintenance on farm buggies, and stepping in for hatchery tasks during absences.

You will follow GMPs, wear PPE, and work on clean days; a safety-minded attitude is essential. The position offers growth opportunities through our Supervisor Development Program and a benefits package including health coverage and a 401K.

• Work on Wednesday clean days and repair farm buggies.
• Fill in for Hatchery Jobs during absences.
• Perform general tasks assigned by management when there are no absences.
• Any other job duties as requested by Hatchery Management.

Job description

MAJOR JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Quality Requirements

Make certain all GMP's are followed at all times as they relate to safety and animal welfare.

Safety Requirements

Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks.

Hearing protection must be worn during chick processing.

Fall protection must be used in the event work is over 4' from ground level.

Working Conditions

Mostly indoor working conditions with temperatures between 64-100.

Outside working conditions will vary according to the weather conditions.

Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
