Pilgrim’s in the United States seeks team members for hatchery operations support, focusing on safety and process reliability. You will follow GMPs, wear required PPE, and assist with maintenance tasks to keep chick processing running smoothly.

• Repair farm buggies as needed.
• Fill in for Hatchery Jobs during absences.
• Perform general tasks as assigned by management.

MAJOR JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Production Requirements

• Any other job duties as requested by Hatchery Management.
• Fill in for Hatchery Jobs duringabsences
• General Tasks assigned by Management when there are notabsences

Quality Requirements

• Make certain all GMP's are followed at all times as they relate to safety and
• Animal Welfare.

Safety Requirements

• Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks.
• Hearing protection must be worn during chick processing.
• Fall protection must be used in the event work is over 4' from ground level.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor working conditions with temperatures between 64-100.
• Outside working conditions will vary according to the weather conditions.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs
