Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some college credit or post-secondary education preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust incubator and hatcher performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot machine errors (alarms).
• Support preventative maintenance program.
• Perform calibration testing/adjustment on equipment.
• Document root cause and corrective actions in maintenance logs.
• Maintain inventory and submit PRs for continued machine performance.
• Assist hatchery maintenance program.
• Fill in as needed to support hatchery labor.
• Maintain bio-security measures.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by hatchery supervision.
• Address safety or quality concerns to ensure product safety.

Job Summary

Ensure efficient hatchery operations by monitoring incubating and hatching operations, troubleshooting, and responding to immediate equipment issues. Follow strict biosecurity protocols. This is a shower-in facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and correct incubator and hatcher performance.
• Analyze and debug (troubleshoot) machine errors (alarms).
• Support equipment "preventative maintenance program".
• Perform calibration testing/adjustment on equipment.
• Document root cause / corrective actions and maintain equipment maintenance log.
• Maintain inventory control and submit PRs as needed for continued machine performance.
• Assist hatchery maintenance program.
• Fill-in as needed to support hatchery labor.
• Ensure Bio-Security measures are maintained.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by hatchery supervision.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.

Education and Experience
