Tyson Foods is seeking a Hatchery Worker (Pull Crew) at the Wadesboro Hatchery in Wadesboro, NC. You will inspect chicks, pull and box them for processing, and sanitize trays and hatchery equipment to ensure quality and safety.

Position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work a 7:00PM or 11:00PM shift with weekends and holidays as needed. Prior ag/production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps >6 months in the past 36 months.
• Must be available for in-person interview.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire rule: no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Pull chicks and operate chick counter; handle chick boxes and place on belt.
• Operate box washer and maintain clean holding areas.
• Monitor temperatures in hatchers/setters and sanitize equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with additional duties as needed.
