Job summary

Pilgrim's in North Carolina is seeking a hardworking general facilities associate to support daily operations in our hatchery. You will complete general in-and-out tasks, assist with sanitation, monitor equipment, and help with maintenance while following safety and biosecurity protocols.

The role requires lifting 20–40 lbs, pushing up to 500 lbs, and working in varying temperatures. Shifts include Wed 5:00 AM–1:00 PM, Fri 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, Sat 1:00 PM–1:00 AM, Sun 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with

Qualifications

Physical ability to lift 20–40 lbs regularly.
Ability to push equipment up to 500 lbs.
Basic math and writing skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas.

Responsibilities

Complete general in-and-out tasks to support daily operations.
Assist with routine sanitation to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform small maintenance tasks and basic equipment upkeep.
Monitor and maintain operational equipment to ensure functionality.
Support Embrex operations when needed.
Follow all safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Any additional tasks assigned by management.
