Job summary

Cobb Three Springs Farm in Rose, Oklahoma, is hiring for Hatchery Processing Labor. You will inspect and process eggs and chicks, maintain hatchery cleanliness, and support daily production.

The shift runs Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday from 5:20 AM to 5:20 PM, including holidays. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus differential for evenings, nights, and weekends, with benefits on day one for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps >6 months in 36 months.
• Internal applicants may receive priority consideration.
• Applicants must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Grade and transfer eggs from pedigree flocks for hatch.
• Tray eggs and inspect shell color/texture and other characteristics; place in hatch buggies and set aside substandard eggs.
• Record data entry of egg and chick information onto touch screen tablet.
• Perform sanitation duties: operate tray washer, clean hatchery areas.
• Assist hatch process by wingbanding chicks, vaccinating, counting, and delivering to brooding houses.
• Euthanize selected or substandard chicks per approved methods.
• Other duties may be assigned, including cleaning offices and restrooms.
