Koch Foods Inc. is seeking Hatchery Workers in Greenville, Alabama to support daily egg-to-chick operations such as egg traying, chick processing, and sanitation. The shift runs from 5 am to 1 pm, with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour and a $3.00 per hour attendance bonus.

Job description

Hatchery Workers work alongside team membersto handle daily operations inside an egg-to-chick facility, performing tasks like egg traying, chick processing, and sanitation. Typical work hours are from approximately 5 am to 1 pm with Sanitation running from 5:30 am to 1 pm. Starting pay rate at the Hatchery is $15.50/hour with a $3.00/hour attendance bonus.

• Adhere to Company, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies and procedures.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No previous experience required; will train.
• Previous hatchery experience preferred.
• Able to lift 10+ lbs, and push 75+ lbs.
• Work well in a small team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Exporsure to dust and varying temperatures.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Frequently stand 8+ hours.
• Regularly exposed to heat conditions of 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Work around raw, live animal odors.
