Job summary

Mountaire Farms in North Carolina is seeking a Hatchery Operations Supervisor to verify and optimize sanitation and processing programs in our hatchery. You will ensure safe, efficient daily operations and compliance with SOPs across hatch, HOF, and early mortality budgets.

You will direct hourly processing and sanitation staff, monitor chick processing equipment, enforce sanitation procedures, and train employees on daily hatchery tasks to uphold Mountaire’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in hatchery setting preferred.
• Completion of safety training including LOTO and pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of hourly processing and sanitation employees to insure efficient hatchery operation.
• Monitors operation of chick processing equipment to insure proper operation.
• Ensures all sanitation procedures and practices are followed.
• Ensures compliance with all SOPs including animal welfare and safety.
• Provides training to all hourly employees with respect to daily tasks in hatchery operation.
