Pilgrim’s is hiring for a hatchery production role where safety comes first and teamwork drives day-to-day operations. You will assist with egg placement, equipment monitoring, and record-keeping, while supporting fellow team members and training staff.

The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ year production/manufacturing experience; poultry/food industry a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must not raise any poultry or birds.

• Ensure correct egg placement in hatchers and monitor equipment; perform setup and cleanup of processes, halls, and setters.
• Maintain detailed records for egg placement, vaccine tracking, and transfer processes; monitor and report equipment performance issues.
• Fill in for absent team members, guide and train staff, assist with safety monitoring, and lead in addressing questions or concerns.
• Participate in egg set, chick processing, cross-training, and training guide development; work varied shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

What You’ll Need

• Education:High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience:1 or more years of production or manufacturing environment.Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills:Effective communication both orally and in writing, ability to work with minimal supervision
• Physical requirements:Work in high-temperature environments (100+°F), tolerate odors, and handle repetitive lifting/pushing of 50 lbs or more with continuous physical activity.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Mustnotraise any poultry or birds
