Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company LLC is seeking a Harvest Supervisor to lead production operations at our Minnesota facility. You will oversee crew levels, direct workflows to maintain efficiency, monitor production schedules, and ensure all products meet customer specifications and food safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, ability to manage records, and willingness to train staff on GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and environments with PPE.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work extended hours Monday through Saturday with overtime.
• Overtime as required.
• Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
• Must complete required trainings: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate crewing to meet production requirements.
• Direct production to maintain or improve operating efficiency.
• Be familiar with production reports and daily schedules.
• Ensure products meet customer specs and food safety standards.
• Train and enforce GMPs.
• Monitor downtime and seek to reduce downtime.
• Assist with employee development and proper PPE use.
• Provide performance feedback and instruction.
• Promote safety and quality in daily tasks.
