Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is recruiting for a training facilitator to lead on-the-job training in designated areas. You will work with new hires until proficient and provide ongoing coaching to address questions and concerns.

The role emphasizes safety, proper use of PPE, and the creation of standardized training materials. You will maintain training records and participate in meetings to identify training needs, with a requirement for regular Monday–Saturday attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 3–6 months prior training experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated desire, ability and potential to train and motivate assigned employees to improve job performance and production capacity.
• Demonstrated knife experience (usage and sharpening).
• Knowledge of jobs in designated training area(s).

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training for new hires and retraining for transfers in designated areas.
• Provide feedback to the appropriate supervisor.
• Coordinate and conduct daily stretches.
• Educate hires on reporting lost or damaged equipment and following procedures.
• Demonstrate proper use of job equipment and PPE.
• Participate in creating standardized training approaches and materials.
• Enforce and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Monitor new hires’ safety and quality workmanship.
• Maintain training records and required documentation.
• Attend and participate in meetings to identify training needs.
• Accountable for departmental retention goals.
• Maintain consistent attendance and be available Monday through Saturday.
