Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing, founded in 1993 and employee-owned since 2012, specializes in electrical contract manufacturing, wire harness assembly, control panels and electronic assembly. We are seeking a Harness QA Inspector to support quality control from inspection of finished harnesses to first article checks and AS9100 documentation compliance.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment.
• Perform first article and first piece inspections.
• Follow AS9100 documentation requirements in production.
• Record and report quality issues.
• Support process improvement ideas.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repair of issues as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools.

Harness QA Inspector

Description: Assist in the manufacturing production of wire harnesses with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met
• Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
• Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production
• Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
• Record and report on quality issues
• Support and contribute process improvement ideas
• Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed
• Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools
• Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities
• Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required
