Job summary
Allen Control Systems is building a new production capability in Austin for harness and PCBA manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager – Electrical Components to lead wiring harness assembly and PCBA rework, scale a Class 3 production line, and build the team and facility from the ground up.
You will own process development, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-7711/7721 standards, and integrate ERP/Odoo workflows to ensure on-time delivery and traceability in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- 8+ years in manufacturing or production management.
- Deep IPC/WHMA-A-620 knowledge; IPC Class 3 experience required.
- Strong leadership and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Experience standing up or scaling a production line from scratch.
- Hands-on harness/cable and PCBA manufacturing/rework experience.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and lead harness assemblers and PCBA rework techs.
- Design layout and tooling for high-volume Class 3 harness production.
- Own rework, repair, and reprocessing of PCBA per IPC standards.
- Drive daily manufacturing schedule to meet delivery milestones.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of ERP data in Odoo.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to resolve bottlenecks.
