Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and qualify manufacturing processes for satellites and subsystems. The role supports production from design through higher-rate manufacture and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and citizenship.

Responsibilities include creating work instructions, BOMs, and SOPs, plus collaborating with stakeholders across manufacturing and supply chain. Second shift availability is needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design and/or manufacturing engineering in Aerospace, Automotive, or Commercial industries.
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.
• Experience applying production engineering principles to analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing methods and equipment.
• Reviews designs for manufacturability and production scalability; creates and maintains work instructions and BOMs.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to support manufacturing and supply chain execution.
• Leads transition of hardware build from LRI to higher rate production; implements new engineering principles.
