Job summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Harness Engineer to design, implement, and manage modern CI/CD pipelines using Harness. The role focuses on accelerating software delivery, improving deployment reliability, and enabling continuous integration and delivery across enterprise applications.

The candidate will automate build, deploy, test, and release processes, integrate with source control and cloud platforms, and drive DevOps best practices within a global, technology-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD Platform.
• Experience building and managing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software release management.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Git-based source control systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes across multiple environments.
• Integrate Harness with source control, testing, monitoring, and cloud platforms.
• Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling, and Feature Flag Deployments.
• Manage and optimize CI, CD, and CV processes.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to streamline software delivery.
• Configure and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Monitor deployment health, application performance, and environment stability.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Drive DevOps best practices and automation initiatives across the organization.
