Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Design support engineer in the United States (Ohio/Raymond area) to assist the automotive wire harness design process. You will use CATIA V5/V6 to contribute to harness routing, sheet metal and bracket design, and related component development under the direction of the design team.

Ideal candidates have hands-on CATIA V5/V6 experience and automotive design background, with preference for those familiar with OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on CATIA V5 and/or V6 experience.
• Automotive design experience, particularly wire harnesses, sheet metal, brackets, or component packaging.
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Support Electrical Design team with automotive wire harness design/routing, sheet metal and bracket design, and related component development using CATIA V5/V6.
• Collaborate with engineers on design assignments, engineering changes, and project deliverables.
