Job summary
Cyient is seeking a skilled Harness CAE Designer in Greensboro, North Carolina to support automotive harness development activities for Honda's vehicle programs. In this role, you will work onsite using Siemens Capital CAE tools to create logical and physical harness designs while generating manufacturing outputs, validating designs, and supporting workflow activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and hands-on experience in automotive wiring harness design, with strong proficiency in Siemens Capital tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in automotive wiring harness design and development.
- Strong proficiency in Siemens Capital / Capital CAE tools for harness design.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end automotive harness development using Siemens Capital CAE tools.
- Develop logical wiring architecture models, including power distribution, ground distribution, and signal/communication networks.
- Generate manufacturing-ready deliverables such as 2D harness drawings, BOMs, wire lists.
