Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a Director, Maintenance & Facilities for our Pinkerton Clubhouse in Harlem, NY. This role will lead the maintenance of our facilities across five locations, totaling 150,000 square feet.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities operations, with responsibilities encompassing everything from general maintenance to ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of OSHA compliance regulations.
• Must have general knowledge in operation and maintenance of buildings and building systems.
• Must demonstrate the ability to develop collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization's facilities maintenance across 5 buildings.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors on new projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Skills

Knowledge of federal, state, and local building standards

Experience in an afterschool or educational setting

Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings

Excellent problem-solving skills

Facilities management software proficiency

Organizational and delegation skills

Education

Experience with facilities operations budgets
