Job summary

RLink Solutions LLC in San Francisco seeks a hands-on technician to connect sensors, compute devices, and AV hardware to test benches for documented testing, firmware updates, and pass/fail verification.

Ideal candidates have lab or hardware support experience, familiarity with Windows and Linux, and basic scripting knowledge to read and execute SOPs and scripts. AV components exposure and strong troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical lab/manufacturing/testing hardware support environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS.
• Ability to read, understand and execute SOPs and scripts.
• Basic scripting ability in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Exposure to AV components and sensors is a plus.
• Experience with inventory control/RMA processes and basic troubleshooting.

Execute Hardware & Software Validation

Connect sensors, compute devices, and AV hardware to test benches to perform documented testing, firmware updates, and pass/fail verification.

Process Hardware Disposition & Inventory

Label, track, and process validated hardware for shipment, or route defective components through designated RMA/repair workflows.

Document & Escalate Operations:

Record test outcomes accurately in tracking systems and elevate issues that exceed documented standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills:

Technical Environment Experience:

Prior experience working in a technical lab, manufacturing, warehouse, testing, or hardware support environment.

OS & Networking Familiarity:

Hands-on familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, along with a basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.

SOP & Script Execution:

Ability to read, understand, and execute documented procedures, existing scripts, and command-line utilities with high attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

Scripting Knowledge:

AV Component Familiarity:

Prior exposure to autonomous vehicle (AV) components and specialized sensors.
