Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced WebLogic and WebSphere Admin L3 to support Unix-based middleware environments in Irving, TX. The role requires resolving complex Level 3 issues, tuning performance, and providing architecture guidance.

You will interact with multiple partners, design scalable solutions, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed. Hybrid work arrangement in a US location is expected.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of middleware Web Technologies experience including WebLogic, WebSphere and Tomcat.
• Role requires high L3 skill on WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server on Unix.
• Experience with Tomcat and AHSTomcat on OpenShift ECS Docker.
• Experience administering WebSphere in large organizations with high volume.
• Scripting in Python and Ansible for automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stability of middleware environments and resolve Level 3 issues.
• Design, develop and support scalable reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with partners to enforce standards and best practices in design and development.
• Provide performance tuning and architectural input for JVMs, threads and pools.

• Skill WebLogic WAS Admin IHS Tomcat
• Responsible for the stability of the environment and resolution of Level 3 issues
• Design develop and support scalable reusable solutions

• EOVS and Vulnerability Assessment resolutions
• Capacity management
• Linux Server OS VTM patching coordination
• Provide support for COB Test
• L3 on call Weekend Support

Skills Qualifications

• Experience with performance tuning with Java background
• Verbal and Written communication skills primarily the ability to communicate ideas standards and technical details to the development partners
• Experience with continuous integration and iterative development methodology is required
• Experience on Unix operating system
• Ability to understand business drivers and balance business needs timelines costs and best practices
• Good Analytical skills
• Experience with Banking and Cash management applications and process would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skill

Additional Responsibilities

• Expert support experience with WebLogic WebSphere Application Server and Java J2EE applications across multiple Pre Prod environments
• Manage and Configure web servers Understand the functions of WebSphere Plugin and various constructs in its configuration
• Expert level defining and modifying WebSphere configuration such as data sources listener ports transports Name Space Bindings WebSphere Plugin Java2 Connection artifacts as per testing requirements
• Understand and apply best practices for Install Update Migration of WebSphere Application Server product
• Perform all administrative operations using the administrative console
• Develop WebSphere scripts in python Perform configuration and operational tasks with ws-admin tool Develop utilities per requirement
• Understanding of how SSL works Certificate Management Configure SSL between various components
• Describe the methodology of problem determination Articulate and Apply procedures for troubleshooting problems related to SSL Certificates JVM Request flow Resource connectivity JNDI Class loading Garbage Collection etc Gather and Diagnose various logs dumps
• Address performance issues to fine tune WebSphere configuration for JVM thread pools connection pools etc
• Familiar with Linux shell commands to perform day to day operations Working knowledge of shell scripting
• Expert level experience administering IHS Web Server Creating IHS start up scripts Modifying apache configuration such as Document Root Rewrite Rules and creating virtual hosts
• Team player self-motivated very resourceful requiring minimal direction and able to work effectively either independently or be highly collaborative with peers
• U deploy Service NOW experience would be additional advantage
• Good knowledge on writing up the Ansible playbooks and Ansible tower configurations
• Flexible for 24/7 support
• Good understanding on CICD pipelines technologies.

Other Details

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
