Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance for major subcontractors and control accounts.
  • Review subcontractor schedules, budgets, deliverables, integration milestones, and EV data for EVMS compliance.
  • Ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment across hardware and software simulation integration activities.
  • Perform earned value measurement (EV), cost and schedule variance analysis, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate ETC and EAC using disciplined EVMS practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update CAPs, work packages, planning packages, and related documentation.
  • Support integration planning and risk mitigation across hardware/software boundaries.
  • Participate in technical reviews related to trainers, simulations, and device readiness events.
  • Attend customer meetings including DCMA reviews, surveillance activities, and EVM compliance assessments.

Job description

The Hardware Training Device (HTD) Control Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for managing cost, schedule, technical scope, and performance for assigned subcontractor HTD control accounts that include both hardware device development and software simulation integration activities.

This mid-level CAM role requires strong earned value management (EVM) experience, solid technical understanding of simulation-based training systems, and effective coordination across internal teams, subcontractors, and government customers including DCMA. The CAM ensures disciplined execution, proactive variance management, and compliance with EVMS requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance for major subcontractors and assigned control accounts.
  • Review subcontractor schedules, budgets, deliverables, integration milestones, and EV data and ensure data meets contractual and EVMS requirements.
  • Ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment across hardware and software simulation integration activities.
  • Perform earned value measurement (EV), cost and schedule variance analysis, and develop corrective action plans when needed.
  • Maintain accurate Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC) using disciplined EVM practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Control Account Plans (CAPs), work packages, planning packages, and associated documentation.
  • Support integration planning, technical risk identification, and mitigation across hardware/software boundaries.
  • Participate in technical reviews related to trainers, simulations, concurrency upgrades, and device readiness events.
  • Participate in customer meetings, including DCMA reviews, surveillance activities, and EVM compliance assessments.
Qualifications
