Job summary

DeWinter Group in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Hardware Engineer focused on Test Development to design and implement testing strategies for automotive hardware components. You will work onsite with suppliers and engineers to validate performance and reliability across system and module levels.

Based in Foster City, you will develop test assets, run comprehensive measurements, and automate routines with Python, contributing to autonomous vehicle hardware qualification and overall vehicle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering or related disciplines (preferred)
• 2+ years hands-on work in electronics development and testing (preferred)
• Experience with early prototypes and vehicle qualification testing (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for hardware components at system and module levels.
• Bridge design concepts with real-world functionality through meticulous testing and infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineers to ensure highest standards of hardware performance for automotive applications.
