Job summary

Sumeru Solutions in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Hardware Technician to install, maintain, and repair ATE/SLT hardware in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with engineering to support test setups and ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires good manual dexterity, ability to read mechanical drawings, and the strength to lift load-boards up to 25 pounds. On-site work with occasional ENG support requests.

Qualifications

• Know IC testing setups (ATE or/and SLT) and troubleshooting. [must have]
• Know thermal control and chiller operation. [nice to have]
• Capable to read mechanical drawings and know general mechanical knowledge. [nice to have]
• Able to repair socket under microscope. Good vision and stable handling tiny pin. [must have]
• Able to lift 25 pounds load-board for ATE setup installation and debug. [must have]

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repairs of ATE/SLT hardware.
• Thermal setup installation (pedestal, TIM, plunger/lid) and its operation on plunger and ATC lid.
• MB and E-board installation. Troubleshooting of SLT setup (E-board, socket, & thermal head) and ATE setup (loadboard, socket, & plunger).
• Test setup validation with a golden unit. Ongoing socket monitoring/maintenance.
• Support ENG requests.
