Emerson is seeking a Hardware Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and validate electronic equipment at the component level. You will use scopes, DMMs, signal generators, and power supplies to ensure products meet reliability standards.
The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, soldering/rework, documentation, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to drive improvements and compliance with safety standards.
The Hardware Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, testing, modifying, and improving electronic equipment, assemblies, and systems at the electronic component level. In this role, you will troubleshoot hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, complete repairs and rework activities, and verify product functionality through testing and validation. You will utilize specialized tools and electronic test equipment to ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
