Job summary

Apple in Cupertino, California, is seeking a System Engineer to join a cross-functional hardware team working on iPhone and iPad developments. The role involves evaluating designs, conducting tests, and supporting Hardware, Module and Design & Validation groups.

You will help optimize test processes, craft benchmarking scripts for performance graphs, and contribute to manufacturing partner activities throughout product cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Hands-on prototype work and functional verification experience with electronics.
• Proficient with lab equipment (DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power supply, data logger).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate overall system design with evaluation tests and engineering fundamentals.
• Support hardware teams in next-generation iPhones and iPads; build Failure Analysis reports.
• Optimize test processes and improve coverage.
• Develop benchmarking matrix and automate scripts for performance graphs.
• Support hardware development at manufacturing partner facilities.
