Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks an experienced systems engineer to support and develop hardware/software interface technologies for chip development and verification. You will work with world-leading silicon engineering teams on next-generation chips used by millions worldwide.

You will design interfaces and collaborate with software, verification, and validation groups, leading deliverables and coordinating efforts across teams. Occasional travel to US and international development groups is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Experience programming in C/C++.
• Threading/concurrency experience.
• Experience with scripting skills such as, Python, Lua, etc.
• Experience with debugging skills in software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new technologies for interfacing software to hardware prototypes.
• Work with software, design verification and silicon validation teams to deploy and transfer this technology.
• Support various groups (software, architecture, verification, validation) in the use of existing and the development of new technology.
• Work independently and lead deliverables to different teams.
• Occasional travel to development groups in the US and overseas.
