Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to own system-, hardware-, and EE-level requirements for a strategic product. You will decompose vehicle-level requirements into clear, testable specifications and define the EE architecture for benches and rigs used to validate the product.

You will work within a model-based environment using Cameo MBSE, ASPICE, and Polarion to ensure traceability and compliance, while collaborating daily with hardware, perception, and autonomy software

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems or hardware systems engineering covering requirements, decomposition, allocation, analysis, and verification.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience deriving and allocating requirements from higher-level vehicle-level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Decompose and allocate vehicle-level requirements into system-, hardware-, and EE-level requirements; define system bounds, capabilities, and features.
• Define EE architecture for test benches and rigs including HIL setups.
• Use Cameo MBSE to maintain architecture and variant management for Vehicle OS products.
• Own validation and verification of requirements at system and hardware levels.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability across journeys, features, requirements, benches, and test cases; define ASPICE processes.
