What You’ll Do
- Lead Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for large‑scale, multidisciplinary hardware‑centric systems
- Drive requirements using the RFLoP framework (Requirements, Functional, Logical, Physical) to ensure traceability and scalability
- Develop and maintain SysML models and artifacts, including hierarchies, state machines, activity diagrams, and allocations
- Translate system‑level architectures into clear, executable subsystem specifications
- Support the full systems engineering V‑model, from requirements decomposition through verification and validation
- Perform system‑level modeling, simulation, and develop trade studies to guide technical decisions
- Lead and contribute to design reviews, DFx coordination, and certification activities, partnering closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams
What Sets You Up for Success
- Experience with MBSE and Model‑Based Design (MBD) in sophisticated product environments
- Solid understanding of PLM / PLC tools and processes
- Practical experience using AI‑enabled tools to accelerate systems engineering, modeling, or analysis workflows
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in a (MBSE) Model‑Based Systems Engineering role
- Strong command of SysML and tools such as Cameo or MATLAB System Composer
- Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools including MATLAB, Python, R, JMP, Arena, or similar
- Proven track record to collaborate effectively across hardware, software, and manufacturing organizations
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent work experience.
Base Pay Range: $105,900.00 – $180,000.00 Annually
Primary Location: USA - MI - Ann Arbor - KLA

Base pay ranges reflect the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
