The role covers FPGA/CPLD development, board bring-up and debugging on production boards, and rigorous validation of high-speed interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3 years of experience.
• Experience with schematic-level board design.
• Understanding board bring-up and debug strategies.
• Strong fundamentals in EE concepts: transistor operation, signal integrity, timing, and digital logic.
• RTL experience with Verilog or VHDL; FPGA design is a plus.
• Proficiency with scopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, eLoads, and protocol analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Developing specifications based on requirements from cross-functional teams.
• Schematic capture, circuit design, definition of layout and routing constraints, design review and simulation.
• FPGA and CPLD development.
• Board bring-up, testing and characterization, and debugging.
• Power and signal integrity analysis.
• High-speed interface design and characterization.
• Debug a wide range of issues on test boards and production systems.
