$46.00 per hour (W2 contract; no C2C)
1st shift position – 8 am to 4:30 pm – Minimal overtime

Designing mechanical components for UAS sensor and hardware integration.
Planning, executing, and maintaining sensor and hardware integrations for new and existing UAS platforms.
Performing UAS flight testing, wire harness design/fabrication, and hardware/software compatibility testing.
Creating and maintaining internal/external product documentation, engineering drawings, and bills of materials.
Facilitating change management between engineering and production staff.
Serving as a subject matter expert and point of contact between engineering teams and technology partners.
Providing level 2 engineering support and input on product improvement and sustainment criteria.
Hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
Have at least 1 year of CAD experience (PTC Creo preferred).
Can obtain FAA Part 107 certification within three months of employment.
Possess experience with UAS platforms (drones), Pixhawk autopilots (PX4 & Ardupilot), and ideally with MAVlink protocols.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent communication skills.
Are highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work well independently and in teams.
Can lift up to 55 lbs and spend up to 25% of your day on your feet.
Are willing to travel as needed for flight testing and project requirements (using a personal vehicle if necessary).
Are able to work onsite immediately and open to in‑person and virtual interviews.
