Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas is seeking a hardware engineer to lead prototype bring-up, debugging and electrical characterization of PCBA systems.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve development challenges and implement component-level PCB reworks for mass production. The role focuses on designing for EMI, signal integrity, and reliability, with hands-on SMT rework, automated PCBA processes, and data-driven quality tracking.

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Prototype bring‑up, debugging, functional verification, and electrical characterization. Manage engineering builds by partnering with and driving communications among cross‑functional teams to solve new product development challenges. Define, recommend, and implement component level reworks in partnership with internal engineering teams. Develop and implement automated PCBA and system level processes to increase yields and throughput. Support system and board level debug, reworking, assembly and reworks on prototype hardware. Track, report, and identify quality issues and/or failure trends. Work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure the prompt and accurate completion of work. 40 hours/week.
