Job summary

Atoms in San Francisco is seeking a Buyer or Senior Buyer to support hardware procurement for growing AV initiatives. You will process POs, coordinate with suppliers of sensors, compute, LiDAR, and other AV hardware, and help scale procurement workflows.

The role requires 2–5 years buying experience, strong ERP/P2P system knowledge (SAP, NetSuite, Coupa, Oracle), meticulous tracking, and a self-starter mindset in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer in hardware, electronics, or robotics.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/P2P platforms (SAP/NetSuite/Coupa/Oracle).
• Proven skill in PO processing at volume and with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders end-to-end from requisition through issuance and closeout.
• Coordinate invoicing with finance and suppliers, resolving discrepancies.
• Track orders, monitor lead times, and escalate delays to keep schedules on track.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement records across systems.
• Build and refine PO workflows and templates for scaling.
