Job summary

Corelation, Inc. seeks a Hardware Services Specialist to install and support KeyStone servers, Unix/Linux systems, and related software. You’ll handle PC hardware, network operations, encryption, and VPN connectivity while aiding planning and implementation of server migrations.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, end-user training, and maintaining processes. A BS in CS or equivalent, with 3–5 years of related experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related hardware/software/network experience.
• Experience installing and supporting KeyStone servers on Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and troubleshoot hardware and software in networked environments.
• Support KeyStone server installations, migrations, and server moves.
• Assist clients with PC hardware, software, and VPN connectivity tasks.
• Create and maintain departmental process and policy documentation using Atlassian and MS products.

What We Are Looking For

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Hardware Services, performs complex professional work with computer hardware, software, and network systems. Installs and supports KeyStone servers including Unix/Linux operating systems and applications software. Installs and supports personal computers, and network operations; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; and ensures systems efficiency and integrity. Provides research and support for new technologies to be used in the client environment.

Requirements

• Provides preliminary support for the KeyStone server installation process, which includes planning, implementing, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software, and virtualized environments (IBM or VMWare).
• Participates in KeyStone server special projects including server replacements, migrations, and server moves. Contributing input to the planning and implementation phases.
• Supports internal staff and clients on implementing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripheral products, server access methods, encryption and Certificates and VPN connectivity as related to KeyStone.
• Creates and maintains departmental process and policy documentation, using Atlassian and Microsoft products.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
