Job summary

Benjamin Moore is hiring for a Sales Support/Operations role based in Illinois. You will provide operational and administrative support to the Hardware/Wholesale HQ team, coordinate meetings, assist with reporting, and help drive sales initiatives and customer engagements.

You will partner with insights, sales operations, and marketing teams to deliver analytics, promote promotions, and ensure accurate, timely execution across markets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales support, operations, account coordination, administration, or related roles.
• High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in business/marketing preferred.
• Ability to interpret sales and customer reporting and communicate findings to sales management to clearly support business execution.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and BI tools preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and build effective working relationships with internal teams, field sales, customers, and accounts.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the Hardware/Wholesale HQ team in meeting their sales goals by targeting customers, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, sales materials, and event logistics, including Conventions and Trade Shows.
• Partner with the Business Insights & Sales Operations teams to facilitate reporting requests based on field sales and management needs to support effective use of reporting.
• Review sales performance, customer activity, program participation, and initiative reporting to identify items leveraging Excel, CRM data, and business intelligence dashboards requiring follow-up and support sales execution.
• Prepare clear recaps, and actionable insights for sales initiatives, including results tracking and customer feedback.
• Support key accounts by coordinating follow-up, responding to routine inquiries, and connecting customers with the appropriate internal resources.
• Assist with the planning and execution of customer promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns across assigned markets or regions.
• Coordinate sample requests and the distribution of promotional materials, product literature, and other customer-facing resources.
• Coordinate logistics and materials for trade shows, customer meetings, training sessions, and other sales events.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Training, and Field Sales teams to support local execution of national and regional strategies.
