Global Payments is seeking a QA Hardware & Device Test Engineer to validate payment devices, peripherals and hardware platforms. You will work across hardware, firmware and software to ensure reliability and performance for merchants and consumers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, hardware testing or related field.
• Hands-on testing of payment devices, POS systems or related hardware.
• Strong QA methodologies, defect management and test planning skills.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi; troubleshooting connectivity.
• Proactive, collaborative with strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Validate and certify payment devices and peripherals; ensure reliability and performance.
• Onboard and readiness of new hardware platforms; accelerate time-to-market for devices.
• Diagnose and resolve device, firmware, software and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain device testing strategies and coverage for hardware compatibility.
• Drive continuous improvement of hardware QA processes across cross-functional teams.
